Garner wins District 6 Race!

We're a good team, you and I!
Through your incredible support – and votes – we were victorious in the August 10 runoff election! I am proud that preliminary results show that Team Garner garnered 64% of the vote.
I am both humbled and honored that my friends and neighbors in District 6 gave me their vote of confidence. I look forward to serving as your voice in Fulton County government.
Of course, I’ll need your vote again in the general election on Tuesday, November 2, in order to be officially elected to the Fulton County Commission District 6 seat, though there is no Republican opponent. In the meantime, I’ll continue to meet with people and organizations across the district to share my plans and ideas and to hear their thoughts and feedback.
I said when we started this race that this is the right role at the right time. Serving my neighbors of District 6 as a Fulton County Commissioner will allow me to even better support the communities in which I so strongly believe. I entered this race to ensure that this diverse community continues to prosper, and that it does so with the active participation of people from all walks of life – across District 6 and beyond.
